I received this record via the contact page on this site, I guess the band or someone associated with the band found this site and decided to send me the record to review. I'm glad they did. It is probably the best looking picture disc I have ever seen. It is think and clear, not the cheap stuff from the 80s. The artwork is pretty far out but works perfectly for the circular/vinyl format. I'm sure this wasn't cheap and as a vinyl enthusiast I really appreciate the fact that they went the distance. Musically it resides on the heavier side of where my tastes lie- reminds me of some Melvins stuff I've heard. Both sides work around the same basic theme- a catchy early 70s heavy metal kind of groove. I enjoyed the lyrics, what I could make out and also preferred the melodic sections to the more repetitive ones. But I dug it more than I expected. Overall a really nice presentation and I would recommend as a buy for any picture disc or hard rock vinyl collector. Limited edition of 500.
